Moving somewhere new is an intensely emotional experience, for expats as well as their families. And while many of us offer solutions for children, most of these are linked to meeting their basic needs, while overlooking the impact of the international migration itself.
Karlijn Jacobs is the world’s first Ombudsman for International Children. She advocates for the inclusion of international children through her work with Expat Valley, an organisation that strives to make international migration an enriching experience that allows children to thrive.
Her keynote looks at international relocation through a child’s eyes, raising awareness of children’s experiences and needs throughout the various stages of the relocation. She brings a new perspective that will allow you to add new services to your offerings, and function as a trusted advisor to your (potential) clients by introducing an opportunity that is typically overlooked.
Join us on Tuesday 13th December at St Johns International School to enjoy Karlijn’s keynote which will be followed by our usual networking event.
